The Hudson Community School District is undergoing a five-year review of the District Developed Service Delivery Plan, which outlines the continuum of services for the delivery of special education programming in our schools.
This plan was developed in accordance with the Iowa Administrative Code Rule 41.408(2)(C). The group of individuals who developed the plan includes parents of eligible individuals, special education teachers, general education teachers, administrators and Central Rivers AEA administrators.
In the development of the plan, the district answers the following questions:
- How will services be organized and provided?
- How will caseloads be determined and monitored?
- How will the delivery system for eligible individuals meet target?
On January 24th, a team comprised of teachers, administrators, parents, and representatives from the Central Rivers AEA met to review and update this plan. Our draft plan will now be open for public comment for the next twenty days. You can access and read the plan here.
