This school year is very quickly beginning to wind down. Pirate Term began yesterday and will continue through the final day of classes. If you are in town and interested, I would encourage you to come up to the high school commons next Friday to see the final projects and hear about what the kids have learned during their Pirate Term experience. Then you can stick around for lunch where we will end the year with our annual cook out!
Our summer sports season is just getting started, and if you are looking for something to do tonight, both our softball and baseball teams will have their home openers. Then you can come back on Saturday at noon to see the boys soccer team play in the sub-state final!
Next week will be very busy! With a short week, we have a lot to do to finish out the school year. Aside from the normal end of year celebrations we will be starting to prep for the construction project, which is slated to begin with mobilization the afternoon of June 1! Major demolition is slated to begin Monday, June 4th. It is shaping up to be another very busy summer at Hudson!
The picture I am sharing this week is from Pirate Term. One of the best things about Pirate Term is that it gives students an opportunity to participate in courses and content they might not otherwise be able to experience.
Have a great weekend!
