The journalism students are hosting a vendor fair featuring dozens of small businesses and crafters from the Cedar Valley Saturday, April 1st, 9 a.m.to 2 p.m. in the high school commons.
Goods ranging from jewelry to beauty products to hand-sewn baby items and more will be available for purchase. There will also be a raffle featuring items donated by the vendors and a bake sale. In addition, copies of Hudson yearbooks dating back to the 1970s will be available for purchase.
All proceeds from the raffle, yearbook sale, and bake sale of this event will be used to help send the journalism students to the National Journalism Convention to be held in Dallas in November. This is the largest conference of its kind, drawing over 4,000 attendees world-wide to learn from the best and brightest in journalistic writing, design, and photography.
Save the date and spread the word. It’s a great way to support both education and small business.
