Prom is this weekend! The walk through will begin at 6:30 in the HS Auditorium. STUDENTS, please begin on the south side of school street where the teachers park and you will line up to drive in front of the high school. FAMILIES coming to watch should please park in the JH lot, behind the elementary school, or on Wood Street. Immediately after the walk through, students should proceed to the Bien VenU in Cedar Falls.
Post Prom check in is from 11:30-11:45pm in the JH parking lot.
Prom walk through forms are available in the office. If you will be joining us for the walk through, please make sure to fill out a form so we have all of your correct information to announce. Forms are due back in the office by the end of the day today.
There will be a Student Council meeting today in Mrs. Thilges’s room during lunch and seminar today.
There will be a baseball meeting during first seminar today in the Flex Room. If you want to attend and meeting and are in Student Council, please start at the baseball meeting and then immpediatly afterwards, join the Student Council meeting.
All sophomores will be attending a Career Fair at Central Rivers AEA on Monday, April 15th. Students will be dismissed at 8:25 and will return around 11:30.
Seniors, please check out the scholarship opportunities document. There are new scholarships posted and many upcoming opportunities that are due in April.
Students interested in summer job opportunities, please check out the CANVAS announcement, or see posters located in the counseling office of in the commons.
Just a reminder for students participating in activities before or after school, please make sure that you are parking in the middle school lot. Student parking is not allowed by the football field and track.
Please be mindful of where you are parking as tickets are being issued. Students can park on Wood Street, except for bus driver parking – signs are posted. Students can also park in the middle school lot and on the streets north of School Street. Tickets will be issued if you are parking on School Street or behind the elementary building. This includes morning and afternoon practice times as well.
With the progress of our construction, the back HS parking lot will not be available until further notice. Again, please make sure that you are parking in appropriate areas. The JH lot is available and we would encourage you to utilize that lot. If you have any questions about where you can park, please stop up in the office.
