Welcome to Hudson Elementary School! We serve approximately 550 students from Preschool through 6th grade. Our core purpose is to Create Effective Learning Environments that Result in Success for All Students.

Our elementary programming teaches Iowa Core Standards and Benchmarks through comprehensive academic programming. There is a primary emphasis on literacy and math. Additionally students receive instruction in music, art, physical education, guidance/health, library/media and band. Explore our Grade Level Expectations through our website for more detailed information.

At Hudson Elementary, we understand the importance of strong partnership between home and school. We encourage family involvement through regular communication, parent-teacher conference attendance, and school events. Our Hudson Pirate PTO provides beneficial support for our students and staff.

Before and after school child care is offered through the YMCA or through St. Timothy Lutheran Church. The YMCA program is hosted on Hudson’s campus, and St. Tim’s is hosted at their facility with bus transportation provided.
